The REVIVE Collection of paintings feels like a time of rebirth for me as an artist and a mother. I started focusing on art in a full-time capacity when I became pregnant in 2019 and both of those journeys have been heavily intertwined...I love how nature will find a way to grow, and sometimes, a plant or flower might bend in an odd way to find the light. I don’t want perfect shapes, flowers, or leaves because we and nature are not perfect. I take comfort in that reminder… and it allows me to give myself grace in my creative process and in daily life.
